-On Tuesday on the way to the movies, we got a flat tire so after messing with getting new tires and missing the movie we made an impromptu trip to the Children's Discovery Gardens at Thanksgiving Point with the Tongs. This was our first time there and there was so much to see!
-Just as the Tongs were leaving, the Frisbys arrived so we decided to stay with them. We saw it all again and then went up behind the amazing waterfalls. The kids loved playing in the Noah's Ark splashpad on such a hot day. We ended up being there for a whopping 5 fun-filled hours.
-Finally made it to see Speed Racer at the Scera Summer Movies. Talk about sensory overload! There is so much going on in that movie and the colors are so bright that it's distracting!
-Went to the People and Cultural Museum and took a class on Archeology. They kids were so excited to be like Indiana Jones. They got to dig in dirt and find beads, arrowheads, and shells.
-We went to the Owlz game and were joined by the Hoens, the Tongs, and the Jensens. It was pretty chilly for an August night but we had a lot of fun!
-Hootz and Holly, the Owlz mascots, got married after the game and Skylar was so excited about that. Then they had a fireworks show that lasted about 5 minutes because something obviously went wrong. It was good while it lasted!
